Childcare

We offer a full wraparound care service. Breakfast club begins at 7:30am, where girls are welcomed to the school dining room and are provided with a healthy, nutritious breakfast before being escorted to Prep ready for the day ahead. Booking and payment can be made through contacting Prep reception.

An essential component of our end-of-day care offering at Manchester High is our superb After School Club (ASC), which starts at 3.30pm each day and runs until 6pm.This facility can be booked and paid for on both a long- and short-term basis for girls in all year groups from Reception to Year 6, and is an easy solution to after school childcare: girls have time to play and tackle homework, alongside familiar staff and in an environment in which they feel at home. Substantial and nutritious snack teas are also available for girls staying in ASC and additional snacks are provided throughout the sessions.

Key Stage 2 pupils have support with, and time to complete homework on each night. Computers are also available for completing homework, where appropriate. Additionally, for all girls in both Infant and Junior classes, there are both structured art-and-craft and also free-choice activities provided throughout every session. Weather permitting, there is also outdoor provision.
