The Magic Box by 2FS

The Daisy girls have been working really hard in their poetry unit, and have written their own version of The Magic Box by Kit Wright. This is a beautiful poem girls, we are very proud of you!

I will put in the box
An invisible dragon that keeps all of the secrets in the world in its sea bed den,
A rainbow monkey climbing a rainbow tree in front of the shining sun,
A glittery prince-worm dancing with a worm with lipstick and a multi-coloured dress.

I will put in the box
An orange cat walking down the multi-coloured street of the Milky Way,
A rainbow flower walking across the rainbow road,
A yummy, beautiful magic cupcake.

I will put in the box
A sparkly firework whizzing through the dark beautiful sky,
An angel’s dress whiter than the snow,
A beautiful, magical colourful rainbow horse that sprays out magical dust along the way.

I will put in the box
A mermaid as beautiful as a shining flower,
A magical pony riding on the rainbow road,
A magical rainbow path with blue and green dolphins flying over the dark blue sky.

I will put in the box
A magical blue flower singing and dancing across the night sky,
A beautiful flower crossing a magical road,
An alien going to the magic Milky Way far, far away,

A colourful rainbow singing with the great blue sea.
My box is fashioned from daisies, stars and precious metal,
With glistening diamonds on the lid and fairy dust in the corners.
Its hinges are the claws of baby dragons.
