IVY LEAF SOCIETY LUNCH

On Friday 21st April, Mrs Hewitt hosted our annual Ivy Leaf Society Lunch, to celebrate those who have chosen to remember Manchester High in their will.
The lunch brought together society members from as far afield as London, with one former pupil, Alexandra Cromwell, from the Class of 1965, travelling all the way from New York.

Guests enjoyed a delicious meal in the Head Mistress’ office, where they were updated with all the very latest developments at MHSG, including the Project Pankhurst mentoring scheme and our ‘Insight into…’ careers talks.
Over the years MHSG has benefitted greatly from the generosity of our friends in the community who have left us a bequest in their will. Without the support of the legacy society and our donors, some of the region’s brightest girls would miss out on their well-deserved place at this School.
If you have already made provision for MHSG in your will but are yet to tell us, then please do so. We would like to thank all our loyal supporters personally and ensure your generosity is recognised on our Ivy Leaf Society plaque which hangs in main reception.

If you are considering leaving a legacy to Manchester High but would like more information on the work of the bursary appeal, please contact Pamela Wood: pwood@mhsg.manchester.sch.uk or 0161 224 0447.
