Manchester High School for Girls

The Class of 2016 returned to School on Wednesday 4th January to catch up  with their former classmates and teachers.

The girls, whose superb A-level grades last summer were ranked by The Times as best in the North West at A* to B, gathered at their familiar hub; the Sixth Form Centre.

Sophie Haughton, former Head Girl, is studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham. She was delighted to see many familiar faces and said:

"It was lovely seeing friends and teachers again at the reunion.

It may only have been six months since we left but with the hectic first term of university there was much catching up to do!

The reunion was a warm reminder that although we are sadly no longer students of MHSG, the friendships we made with staff and fellow pupils will endure."

The girls are now enjoying studying a breadth of higher education courses around the country including International Business, Veterinary Science, Law, Medicine and anything in between. We wish them the best of luck and hope to see many of them again soon!
