Manchester High School for Girls

The Preparatory Department hall was lit with beaming, happy faces as Reception girls took to the stage to perform their festive 'Wriggly Nativity' play on 30th November.

Performing twice; once in the morning and once in the afternoon, the girls showcased their drama talents to parents, staff and members of the school Governors in the packed out hall.

Mrs Anderson, reception class teacher, was full of praise for the girls: "Well done to our amazing Reception girls for their magnificent performance. We were all so proud of you and how well you remembered your words, sang your songs and danced so beautifully! What an amazing achievement after only a few weeks of school."

She added: "Can we also say a big thank you to our amazing families who helped the girls learn their words, washed and ironed  the costumes and hunted for additional items for the girls to wear!"

What a great start to the festive season at Manchester High, check our news page for more updates in the coming days.
