SKI-RACING TALENT ANNA REACHES NEW HEIGHTS

Promising ski-racing talent, Anna from Year 6, has had a very good start to the indoor ski-racing season which runs from late spring through to the late summer each year.

So far, Anna has won each of the three Under-12s races in the Great Britain Indoor Race Series with two more events scheduled for later this summer.

In late May, she travelled to The Netherlands to compete in two Snow Sport England slalom races and she won gold medals in each event. In early June, she won the English Indoor Ski-cross Championships and she has recently been selected to join the Home Nations (England) ski-cross development squad.

Anna said: "I really enjoy ski-racing. I train at the Chill Factore in Manchester and compete all over the country. My school is really supportive of my sport and I have had really good results this season so I'm really pleased."

We wish best of luck to Anna with the remaining events this summer!
