Manchester High School for Girls

A talented team of Year 10 students from Manchester High have triumphed in the national Coca-Cola Real Business Challenge grand finals held on 15th – 16th March in London.

They achieved second place, beating stiff competition from nearly 90,000 students across the UK.

Huma, Roni, Navya, Emma, India and Grace presented their litter campaign to business experts in Westminster Hall, and enjoyed a tour of the House of Parliament with the help of Yvette Cooper MP. The girls were also whisked away to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the West End prior to their final business challenge the following day.

Navya said: “The final day was stressful and exhilarating to say the least, and we were all incredibly proud to win second place for EcoWear- completely recycled glasses. It was an amazing opportunity to meet people from all aspects of business and the whole experience has really boosted our confidence. We will never forget this competition and our trip to London!”
