Students may choose to take a year-long course (one lesson a week), for example the EPQ or Advanced Maths; those interested in applying for Medicine or Dentistry will be encouraged to sign up the Future in Biosciences course.
In addition, all students will participate in a bespoke short-course carousel programme, covering the following units on a five-week rotation:
- Critical thinking
- Current affairs
- History of Science
- Arts and Culture
- Cooking
In the half term after the J6 exams, a series of one-off sessions will cover a variety of topics including IT skills, use of AI, library research skills, public speaking etc, helping students to prepare for university applications and future study.
