The School Day

Tutorial time and assemblies provide vital opportunities for developing students’ thinking beyond the classroom, with a focus on the School values, current affairs and celebrating important events.

Each year group will have a main assembly once per week and a year group assembly once per fortnight. In addition, we run House assemblies and assemblies led by students on the main religious traditions represented in the School community.

The lunch break allows time for students to have lunch from our school caterers, as well as taking part in our vast range of extra-curricular activities. Some of these activities also take place after school.

Girls can stay in school until 5.30pm in classrooms provided to work independently or in the library until 5pm.
