U-19 NETBALL TEAM BRING HOME COUNTY SILVER
Manchester High School for Girls’ U-19s netball team have beaten stiff competition around Greater Manchester by bringing home a Silver medal in the County Netball Tournament at Cheadle Hulme School on 9th March.
They won all their games to secure their place in the final against Holy Cross College, but narrowly lost 7-5 making them County Runners-up.
Miss Warwick from the PE Department at Manchester High said: “This is a huge achievement for the girls given that the standard of netball in Greater Manchester is so high. They played exceptionally well throughout the competition and I’d like to congratulate them all for this fantastic result.”
The team consisted of captains Sophie and Georgy, Ebubechi, Bella, Safy, Emily, Anna, Katherine, Rachel and Amber.
