On Saturday 14th November we look forward to welcoming you to the Whole School Open Morning.
The event will give you an opportunity to discover more about the Senior School and/or our Preparatory School, our work and activities. You will be able to visit classrooms, view displays of work and see our specialist provision for computing, science, music and sport.
You will have the chance to undertake a tour of the school, guided by some of our current pupils and, in the Senior School, to hear from our Head Mistress, Mrs Helen Jeys, who will be giving a presentation in the school hall at 11.20am and 12.00noon. For visitors to our Preparatory School, you will hear from our Head of Preparatory School, Mrs Sam Gibbons who will be speaking at 10.30am.
The Whole School Open Event is aimed at at families considering sitting our Entrance Examination for Year 7 entry, or, with an interest in joining our Preparatory Department, whether for the coming academic year, or in the future, but we also welcome families interested in Sixth Form entry, for whom tours will be conducted by current members of our Sixth Form. There will be other members of senior staff including the Head of Sixth Form on hand to answer any questions you may have about other points of entry.
Refreshments will be provided.
Due to the number of families who attend our Open Events, we run a number of different arrival times and ask you to select a time slot and specify which part of the school you are interested in seeing. Please select the Wave you would like to attend and the number of tickets you require. Please complete the lead booker’s details where you are prompted to “Add Attendees”.
Wave 1 Senior School: arrive from 9.30am
Wave 1 Prep School: arrive from 9.30am
Wave 2 Senior School: arrive from 10.00am
Wave A Sixth Form: arrive from 10.00am
Wave 2 Prep School: arrive from 10.15am
Wave 3 Senior School: arrive from 10.30am
Wave B Sixth Form: arrive from 10.30am
Visitors for Senior School and Sixth Form will be directed to the Senior School Main Entrance and visitors to the Preparatory School will be directed to the Prep Entrance. Staff will be on hand to direct you but parking for Senior School will be on the main school car park at the bottom of Grangethorpe Road and parking for Prep will be on the Prep School car park part way down Grangethorpe Road. Overflow parking will be on the netball courts.
