Swapping clothes for sustainability

Girls proved that sustainability was a high priority as they organised a clothes swap on Friday 13th March.

Girls brought items of clothing that they no longer wear and were given tickets to swap with clothes brought by other pupils. At the end of lunchtime, there table was almost empty with nearly everything being snapped up!

Mrs Norton, Director of Sixth Form Studies, commented: “This is a fantastic initiative and I’d like to thank Natasha (S6KC) for organising it. Our pupils are very environmentally conscious and the popularity of the event only shows how committed they are to sustainability. I certainly don’t think this is the last clothes swap we’ll see, especially considering that the staff were quite keen on the idea too!”
