Statement: School Closure, COVID-19
Manchester High School for Girls will be closed to the majority of pupils from Monday 23rd March as we move to remote learning.
It may be a while before we see them in school, but we know our girls will look out for each other, work hard and find positivity in this time of uncertainty.
Girls, time spent on learning is never wasted, regardless of how (or if) the learning is assessed. Throughout your time with us so far at MHSG you will have been developing the skills and knowledge that you need for the next stage of your life. These skills will stand you in good stead during the remainder of the academic year, as well as at school, college, university or work in the future.
We are proud to have a very strong school community. Although the interactions between the members of our community will be taking placing at a distance, rather than face-to-face, support is still available. Your education will continue via remote learning and, when the time is right, we will look forward to seeing you again.
To all of the Manchester High School for Girls community, please follow the Government advice, look out for yourselves and support those around you.
We are hoping to fill our social media pages with positivity in the coming weeks and months, so please keep a look out!
We will look forward to seeing you again soon.
