Manchester High School for Girls

Father Christmas visits the Preparatory Department

It has become a Manchester High tradition for Father Christmas to visit the Preparatory Department during the last week of the autumn term and this year was no different.

Girls in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 all received a gift from Santa on Monday 16th December and they thanked him by singing a special Christmas song. Father Christmas was joined by former Head Mistress, Mrs Lee-Jones, who was on hand to help with the gift-giving.

Mrs Mortimer, Head of the Preparatory Department, said: “Our youngest pupils love Father Christmas’s visit. He’s always incredibly generous and I know the staff appreciate a small gift too! I’m certainly looking forward to opening my present on Christmas Day! I’d like to thank Mrs Lee-Jones and Santa for coming to see us again – we hope to see you next year!”

Thank you to Father Christmas for your continued support, the girls were delighted to see you!
