Chief Scout's Platinum Award for Year 11 pupil

Congratulations to Eleanor Rushton-Clarke in Year 11 who has been awarded the Chief Scout's Platinum Award.

The Chief Scout's Platinum Award is one of the highest awards in the Scout's network and requires entrants to complete a number of difficult and thought-provoking challenges:

  1. Be a member of Explorer Scouts for at least six months.
  2. Complete six nights away as an Explorer Scout of which four must be camping.
  3. Complete two activities from the International, Community and Values list.

Mrs Goddard, Deputy Head (Pastoral), commented: "I'm very proud of Eleanor's determination and dedication to this award. She has put a huge amount of work into it and she should be delighted to receive the award. Scouts is a fantastic organisation and an amazing way for young people to develop life and leadership skills. I am in no doubt that Eleanor will use the skills learned during this award for many years to come."
