Manchester High School for Girls

Insight into Psychology

On Thursday 6th February 2020 we will be hosting another “Insight into…” careers talk at Manchester High School for Girls.

Why do people do the things they do? Psychology attempts to answer this age-old question. Spanning from biology to sociology, this is a great chance for students and parents to learn about a wide range of careers available in this area.

We will be joined by Class of 2008 alumna and Trainee Clinical Psychologist, Stef Penuela-O’Brien and Rachel Vora from the Class of 2006, who is currently a Therapist at The Priory Group. Our final speaker will be current MHSG parent, Dr Alistair Barrowcliff, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

The talk is open to pupils from Year 9 upwards and their parents, as well as students from other local schools and colleges.

Our last “Insight Into…” evening was massively oversubscribed and we recommend securing your seats as soon as possible. Please do not attend on the night without having booked your place.

Places can be booked via Lex Robinson in the Development Team: development@mhsg.manchester.sch.uk
