A major investment in the future - the most exciting project at Manchester High since the 1940s move to the present site
Sports play an important part in life today. At every level, the benefits are enormous: health and fitness, the disciplines of teamwork, leadership skills, generosity of spirit, confidence and tenacity. These are just some of the attributes that physical skills bestow.
At Manchester High School for Girls we have already invested in all weather Astroturf hockey and tennis courts and our swimming pool. We have now completed our programme of investment in the sporting life of Manchester High with a state of the art Sports Complex, the MHSG Sports Hall.
The new MHSG Sports Complex contains a large sports hall, a fitness suite and a dance studio. A climbing wall has been installed in the hall and new changing rooms have also been incorporated within this superbly designed building which provides state of the art PE facilities.
