SENIOR SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Entrance Examination for the Senior School will be held on Tuesday 13 January 2009.
Papers set in previous examinations are not published, as the format may vary from year to year. Guidelines to indicate their general nature and the kind of work with which candidates are expected to be familiar will be sent to all applicants.
Every effort is made to make the candidate feel relaxed and we try to make the morning as varied and as interesting as possible.
Applicants to the Senior School (candidates aged between 10 years 6 months and 11 years 11 months on 31 August 2009) who do well enough in the initial written examination will be invited to attend for interview on a day during the period Monday 19 January to Wednesday 25 February 2009.
Further details about procedures on the day of examination and on interview days, and details about notification of results, will be sent to applicants. A supplementary examination will be held for any candidate who is prevented by illness from attending, providing that a medical certificate is supplied to the School in support of her absence.
Completed application forms should be returned in time to reach the School not later than Tuesday 6 January 2009.
PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Entrance Examination for the Junior Department will take place on Tuesday 13 January 2009.
Completed application forms should be returned in time to reach the School not later than Tuesday 6 January 2009.
Infant assessments will take place during the week commencing 12 January 2009.
We do, however, accommodate candidates who apply at other times of the school year.
