| Parents' and Friends' Association The PFA Summer Ball was held at the Belfry Hotel in Handforth on Saturday 7 June 2008. The first of its kind, the Ball was a complete sell out and was so successful it is now firmly fixed on the School calendar as an annual event.
Over 180 people attended to enjoy a bucks fizz reception followed by a three course meal and dancing until 1.00am!
The event provided the perfect oppoprtunity for the PFA to pay tribute to Mrs Lee-Jones who retires from the School at the end of the autumn term.
Although the evening was a purely social event and not a fundraiser in this instance, over £1600 was raised which will be reinvested for the benefit of students at Manchester High School for Girls. |
