Henry Leads, Dancers Follow

Dance students were thrilled to receive expert tuition from Henry Montes, Principal Soloist with the Siobhan Davies Dance Company.

Henry spent over two hours with our GCSE dance group exploring the choreography and repertoire of their set work, Birdsong.

All involved were thrilled with the opportunity to work with Henry, an American dancer who has performed across the USA and Europe, and who was awarded the National Dance Award for Most Outstanding Male Dance Artist in 2003.

The dancers have also enjoyed two recent theatre visits; a production of The Car Man by Matthew Bourne at The Lowry, as well as a trip to The Palace Theatre for a magical  performance of The Snow Queen by the English National Ballet.
