Tears and Laughter As Year 11 Leave

The girls, all of whom are busy preparing for their GCSE examinations, enjoyed a rousing send off.

Their day included a Talent Show, with a star turn from the Year 11 Tutors who donned their very own school uniforms, as well as reception and buffet lunch.

Events concluded with a balloon release, with each pupil attaching a card that summarised their hopes and aspirations for the future.

Head of Year 11 Miss Sarah Davies said the entire year group had been a "pleasure to teach" and that many would go on to be highly successful in life.

The majority of the Year 11 group will return to MHSG in September to join the Junior Sixth Form, but with GCSE revision ahead we wish every one of them the very best of luck with their GCSE examinations.
