| News Archive It is the second year in succession that MHSG has triumphed in The 2006 Good Schools Guide A Level Awards for returning the best results in Business Studies and Economics at an Independent School.
A spokesman for the Good Schools Guide said: “The awards recognise excellent teaching in individual subjects and measure the success that pupils achieve in each examination in relation to their overall results, because good teaching inspires good performance.”
Miss Kerrie Jennings and Mr Mike Randall, who deliver MHSG’s AS and A2 Business and Economics course, are delighted with the award.
“It is an acknowledgement of the outstanding performance of the students in this new and demanding subject area," said Miss Jennings.
Many former Business and Economics students at MHSG have subsequently gained entry into Oxford and Cambridge Universities, as well as the London School of Economics. |
