Following our successful fundraising appeal, 'Miles Better', which raised almost £60,000 Manchester High School for Girls' students will be travelling in style with two new minibuses, supplied by Arnold Clark Automobile Ltd.
Head Mistress, Mrs Christine Lee-Jones, enthused: "We are thoroughly delighted with the success of our fundraising activities and, in particular, would like to thank Mr Stuart Marks, Chief Executive of ITIS Holdings plc and KeepMoving, together with Mrs Coocy Hussain, Director of The Juice Coorporation and Joe Bloggs, who were the main sponsors for the appeal.
A special mention must also go to the Parents' and Friends' Association (PFA) who kindly donated £10,000, and the Zochonis Charitable Trust."
Further funds were raised through individual contributions and pupils' fundraising events.
