| A Message From Patron Carol Ann Duffy, Poet Laureate
As a parent I have seen first hand the impact that education can have on a child. I am delighted with the education my daughter receives at Manchester High School for Girls and feel passionately that this education should be open to every young girl who could benefit, not just those whose parents can afford it. That is why I am honoured to be a Patron of the Pankhurst Bursary Appeal.

| A Message From The Chairman Of Governors
Our experiences in childhood shape our entire lives. Many students from Manchester High School for Girls have gone on to achieve great things, both in their personal and professional lives, all undoubtedly because of the opportunities and confidence they were given at a young age.
