New for 2008: Two Free Places

Manchester High School for Girls has launched a new scheme to provide free places for children from low and middle-income families.

Bursaries

The Governors have made funds available to award a number of Bursaries for students entering at the age of 10 or 11 in September 2008, based on their educational attainment and their parents’ income.

Scholarships
One or more Entrance Scholarships may be awarded by the Governors for excellence in performance in the entrance tests.  Scholarships for music, as well as sports and dance, are also offered.
