A Science Club is held in the Chemistry Department on Monday lunchtimes. Students take the opportunity to work through a variety of experiments with the help of Researcher in Residence, Helen Gallon. Helen is a second year PhD student from The University of Manchester’s Chemistry Department.

A particularly fun investigation involved girls making bouncy balls from slime of varying consistency to see which was the bounciest. Rebecca Mile is pictured enjoying the experiment.
