The Rambert Dance Company returned to Grangethorpe Road to run a customised workshop for Years 9, 10 and 11, co-ordinated by Head of Dance, Mrs Watkins.

Students followed up the Dance class with a trip to the Lowry Theatre to watch the Rambert dancers perform two works: ‘Swansong’ by Christopher Bruce and ‘Eternal Light’ by Mark Baldwin.  

The Rambert Dance Company continues to be at the forefront of modern dance, boasting some of the world’s finest dancers. The subject also remains a popular lesson at MHSG with girls participating in GCSE Dance, choreography competitions and shows.
