Year 9 visited the Lake District National Park in the autumn term.  Although they were greeted by a shower on their arrival, the weather was kind for the rest of the day. 

The girls studied land uses in Bowness, completed interviews with some tourists and investigated various issues and management techniques along the shore of Lake Windermere. 

Chips and ice creams by the Lake added to the enjoyment of the day - although the swans seemed to be determined to share the girls’ food!
