At the start of the autumn term Year 5 went on an interesting trip to Eyam in Derbyshire to support their Geography and History studies.
Pupils study Eyam as an example of a contrasting settlement to Manchester and also to find out about the plague following on from their work on the Tudors.
Fascinated girls visited the museum, took a tour of the village, sketched drawings, carried out a traffic count and also managed to survey how the land in Eyam was being used. |
