Artistic pupils enjoyed a visit to the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester to study patterns and printing.

The girls sketched a large metal sculpture from different angles and experimented with drawing portraits.  They then enjoyed a fun workshop led by a professional artist.

Prints were made by the girls by creating a view-hole, enlarging parts of their favourite sketches, etching their design onto special paper and covering it with black ink.
