Manchester High School for Girls is celebrating another successful year of examination results and achievements.

At Advanced Level 94% of all examinations returned A or B grades, with a 100% pass rate.

Tara Wood achieved four A grades at A Level with one of the top five marks nationally in Geography

For GCSE 86% of grades were A*or A and a 100% pass rate was also achieved.

Head Mistress, Mrs Christine Lee-Jones, attributed the excellent results to the hard work of the girls, who are highly motivated and focused on achieving their potential, and to the dedicated and skilled teachers who have taught them.
