Senior students were treated to an informative presentation by Professor Lou Kushnick OBE which covered the American Presidential Elections and current issues on American politics and society.

Some of our A-Level girls followed up the presentation with a visit to the Race Relations Resource Centre which was set up by Professor Kushnick at Manchester University.

The Race Relations Resource Centre has become a major open access resource engaged in oral history, training of teachers, development of teaching materials, production of primary level fiction and non-fiction books with primary school pupils, their teachers and parents.
