A Real Success Story

Popular children’s author, Amanda Lees, visited the School to provide expert advice to students on how to structure the perfect story.

Amanda is the force behind a major new teen series called Kumari, Goddess of Gotham, and she enjoyed a working lunch with some of the Senior School’s creative writing talent.

As well as signing books, Amanda provided an insight into her life as a professional writer and explained about the importance of form and developing a plot in stories.

During an interactive session Amanda encouraged the girls to develop the habit of writing regularly and not overlook the need to edit work thoroughly.
