Members of the Junior Sixth Form were delighted to be given the chance to visit Manchester University to take part in lectures and laboratory work.
The day started with a lecture running through an introduction to Genetics, from Ceri Harrop. Ceri is a PhD student researching Cystic Fibrosis.
The second lecture was titled ‘Mutant Genes, Degenerating Brains and Breakfast’ by Dr Stuart Pickering-Brown.
