Back In Ancient Times

The girls listened intently to stories about everyday life in Ancient Greece and Mr Warrell used artefacts such as body armour, a soldier’s helmet and a sword to help illustrate the stories, much to the fascination of the girls.

A workshop was set up for pupils to further educate them on this fascinating era and activities included: weaving on a loom, fishing, carving Greek writing on pottery and dressing up in Athenian armour. They all had a fantastic time.

Continuing on with their Greek theme pupils previously enjoyed a Greek lunch and performed the Hades Hop poem and other songs to their parents.
