HAPPY CHILDREN LEARN AND ACHIEVE

  • A strong emphasis is placed on making the Prep Department a friendly and caring environment.   The high standard of pastoral care at MHSG is evident in our holistic approach to education in the Prep Department.  We believe happy pupils achieve their full potential.
  • We maintain a close partnership with our parents, welcoming their full involvement with their daughters' progress.   Parents are also very welcome to the many Prep events and workshops, either as audience members or helpers.
  • The Prep's Playground Friends Scheme ensures nobody is lost or lonely at break times.
  • A full time nursing sister is in daily attendance and a school doctor sees the girls regularly throughout their school lives.
  • We provide free before school care and after school care at a minimal cost.
  • A member of staff accompanies girls on the 141x bus to and from Bowdon, Altrincham, Hale and Hale Barns.
