OUR Year 5 girls made the short trip to Manchester Cathedral as part of their Religious Education topic on Christianity.

They completed a ‘Signs and Symbols’ tour of the building where everybody undertook a brass rubbing.

The group then learnt more about the significance of the colours and embroidered symbols before a few girls were lucky enough to try on a collection of vestments before returning to the Prep.
