A HEAD START

In our Preparatory Department, we have created a happy and secure environment in which your daughter can thrive.  Girls are encouraged to be confident, to develop their special talents and to fulfil their academic potential.

Prep pupils spend most of the week with their class teacher who is the central figure in their lives at schoolThey are also taught by a team of Primary specialists including Physical Education, French and Music teachers.  They are complemented by ancillary staff and a Learning Support Teacher

Our classrooms provide vibrant, exciting spaces in which to learn.  The girls benefit from a close community housed in a self-contained wing which includes a purpose-built infant section, two assembly halls and a fully-equipped playground and gardens.  There are also specially designated areas for Mathematics, Science and Technology and libraries, music room and two computer-suites providing multi-media facilities.  Girls also have access to facilities in the Senior School such as its swimming pool, Music Centre and auditorium for public performances.

Our After School Club provides a high standard of organised activities and care and is available every week day on a regular or occasional basis for a minimal cost.
