Dance talent from across the senior school took to the stage for MHSG’s inaugural Choreography Competition.

 

A total of 25 entrants were whittled down to nine finalists. They included:

 

Year 7: Vaishnavi Ganesh ( 7H),  Emma Johnson ( 7G), Nicola End, Laura Herd and Elizabeth Hopper (all 7M).

 

Year 8: Ambah Simpson & Isabella Rubin (both 8H), Alisha Khan and Zeinab Drabu (both 8S), Emma Worthington, Caitlin Whitby, Melissa Wetherby, Claudia Gold and Mekala Fuller (all 8G)

 

Seniors: Sarah Peel, Jenny Kimber –Pride, Rosie Sidebottom ,Lauren Griffiths (Year 9), Alex Ford and Hannah Williams (both 11H),

 

All finalists were superb and the judges had a very difficult task in choosing the top three. The results were:

 

Year 7 Winner: Nicola End (Runaway). Year 8 Winner: Ambah Simpson and Isabella Rubin (Black or White). Senior Winner: Alex Ford and Hannah Williams (Hit the Road Jack).
