Studying The Curry Mile
[printer-friendly page] [printer-friendly page]

THEY have already visited the sedate village of Eyam as part of their geography studies. Now our Year 5 group have made the short trip up the road to Rusholme to learn more about the diversity of the Curry Mile.

They undertook similar exercises as they had done in Eyam earlier in the school year (click here to find out more). The tasks involved field sketches, traffic counts and a land use tally.

The work forms part of a study of the locality around The Preparatory Department which the girls contrast with their findings in Eyam.
