REMEMBER her name because Year 7 student Nina Webb has been earmarked as a future literary talent.
Nina (pictured centre) was one of just a handful of young people from the North West involved in a series of Creative Writing workshops involving the novelist Linda Percival, and the poet, Carol Archer.
Staff at MHSG have been equally impressed with the talent of a pupil who is already working-up ideas for her first novel and who cites J K Rowling and Jacqueline Wilson as major influences.
Nina explained: “My writing has greatly improved during the course of these workshops. I now know how to incorporate different techniques into my stories and enjoy writing much more than I once did.”
