International Relations

DEBATING skills were put to the test when 35 MHSG students participated in a Model United Nations Conference.

The event, held in October, saw the MHSG delegates represent the interests of Indonesia, Japan, Morocco, Kenya, Afghanistan and Kuwait. It tested the negotiating skills of participants as well as their ability to research the major international issues affecting their chosen countries.

The number of MHSG students taking part in the model conferences

continues to grow, and during 2008 our delegates will be in action at events in Bath and at Stockport Grammar School.

Pictured are those MHSG delegates who have been involved in this initiative since the beginning of Year 10.
