A Postcard From Malaga

LANGUAGE students packed their bags for Malaga for a five day break to improve their Spanish skills.

The girls, accompanied by Miss Davies and Mrs Alvarez-Taylor, enjoyed a series of three-hour Spanish sessions at a language centre in Benalmadena. All received a certificate at the end of the course.

Other highlights included two trips to the cinema to enjoy Spanish films without subtitles, a visit to the World Heritage site of the Alhambra Palace and Gardens, the Picasso Museum and the sights of Malaga City.

Mrs Alvarez-Taylor said: “It was a very rewarding week. The students helped and supported one another brilliantly and earned praise from both staff and guests at the hotel for their behaviour and maturity.”
