An outstanding examination performance earned Maria Scott recognition from the Manchester branch of The Geographical Association.

She was the joint recipient of The Ogden Prize, which recognises the best performance by a Greater Manchester student in their geography A Levels, sat with the AQA Examination Board.

Maria, who is now studying Law at Cambridge University, will also receive a certificate and book tokens. She is pictured (right) opening her examination results in August alongside her friend, Jenny Hoban.
