Another MHSG student secured a place on a prestigious course offered by Cambridge University for would-be physicists.

Senior Sixth Form student Annabel Williams spent five days of her Summer undertaking the Senior Physics Challenge Course. She followed in the footsteps of Alice Lighton, who is now pursuing Physics at Oxford.

Annabel explained: “I was one of 60 UK-based students on the course which emphasised the importance of Mathematics when studying Physics. We enjoyed a mix of lectures, as well as practical exercises that demanded creative solutions, and it was a valuable experience ahead of making my university application,” she added.
