The ICT, Business and Economics Department took 38 Sixth Form girls to Business and ICT Live Conference held at Disneyland Paris. This unique experience was thoroughly enjoyed by students and staff and was attended by over 1500 students from all parts of the UK. The conference was chaired by Declan Curry from the BBC and featured a range of speakers from internationally known businesses such as Price Waterhouse and British Telecom, to an up and coming, market research company called Brain Juicer. The representative from Price Waterhouse was, in fact, a former Apprentice contestant.

The conference was extremely informative and gave students the chance to see economic and business theory “in action”. The girls also had chance to spend some time in the Disney Park and visit the Walt Disney Studios.
