Stephanie Tepper has been awarded a prestigious scholarship to the Royal Northern College of Music to study the flute.
Dedicated Stephanie, who has been playing since the age of seven, practises the flute for four hours each day, while also studying for A Levels in Latin, French and Music. Stephanie’s ambition is to become a respected solo and orchestral musician and to pass on her talents as a teacher.
Manchester High's Director of Music, Kathy Rundell, says: “This is an extraordinary achievement, as competition for places amongst flautists is extremely tough. Very few scholarships are awarded, so effectively this makes Stephanie one of the very best students auditioned this year.”
