Year 1 were excited to learn how to program and control a floor robot. Children worked with the ‘Bee Bots’, to make them move forwards and backwards to reach a target. The girls then moved on to programming the robots to move around a map to reach a final destination of a house, castle or bridge. Working in pairs they set each other challenges and explained their moves to their partner which involved precise communication.
