The Classes of 1958-1960 held a successful reunion at Manchester High on 12th September 2009 to celebrate 50 years since leaving MHSG.
The Old Girls were welcomed with a glass of Pimms and then treated to a delicious afternoon tea, followed by a tour. This gave everyone the opportunity to renew old friendships and exchange long forgotten memories and photographs.
Visitors travelled from as far afield as America and France to attend. A special thanks must be given to Pat Wallace who started the ball rolling over 12 months ago when she approached the School and suggested a reunion to commemorate this golden anniversary. Thanks must also go to Midge Leather, Carol Condliffe and Brenda Coakes, as well as to the School Archivist, Dr Chris Joy, for supplying us with a variety of old photographs and memorabilia culminating in a fascinating display which captured the essence of school days in the 1950s.
