In the drizzle and wind, students ventured to Crosby in Merseyside to take part in an activities day, led by the Alternative Curriculum Company. They were faced with ex-army trainers who put them through their paces in a number of tasks including: orienteering, cooking outside, shelter building and completing an assault course. The highlight, however, was a very sophisticated form of hide-and-seek in which girls had to camouflage their faces before venturing into the undergrowth!
Everyone had a fantastic day and, upon returning to school, parents were rather shocked when they were met with some unusual looking faces! |
